Seamore Bermuda
Seamore is a small non-profit company working in collaboration with the Bermuda Biological Station for Research (BBSR).

In June this year, a one week trip is planned to the BBSR for a group pf people who are interested to know more about the marine environment in an ideal location. The course will take place from June 1-7, 2005 in Bermuda at the BBSR.

The programme involves a series of activities including a tour of the BBSR, lectures, fish and coral identification, research techniques, laboratory demonstrations of current research at the station and trips to beautiful bays for activities involving snorkelling or diving, and much more.

The programme involves a series of activities including a tour of the BBSR, lectures, fish and coral identification, research techniques, laboratory demonstrations of current research at the station and trips to beautiful bays for activities involving snorkelling or diving, and much more.

The cost which has been reduced to $1000 if booked before the end of March includes the course fee, full board accommodation on the exclusive campus of the BBSR, with beautiful views of the bay. At today’s exchange rate, that’s as little as 530 for a full week’s course in marine studies at one of the best marine labs in the world.

Flights are separate and information will be given as to the best deals.

This type of trip is unique in that this is the first time that the BBSR has opened its doors to members of the public; normally they organise study trips only for school students, graduates and related educational and research establishments.

Having attended a course at the BBSR myself as a graduate, I recommend it to anyone to take up this opportunity and attend this course, at the same time gain hands-on experince and meet and make contact with people working on the marine environment from all over the world. The diving or snorkelling is also excellent here, with 100% guarantee that you will see much more than you will expect. It is also very safe and it will be a very relaxing, fulfilling study trip.
