Hello UK !

My name is Birgir Waag Høgnesen, from the Faroe Islands.
I am writing a book about a ship that belonged to The Faroe Islands during the years 1966 to 1975. I am asking you to see, if you can help with this in any possible way.

The case is, that this ship that was sold to South Africa in 1975, was called Kap Farvel. Since then, the name of the ship has been changed several times during the years. Last known ship owner was Baomar, UK, who called the ship Celtic Sea.

I am looking for the captain-protest from when the ship sank, outside the Cies Island, near Vigo in Spain, on the 4th of april, 1990.

I am also looking for information about whom the ship belonged to, and who evt. was onboard the ship when it belonged in the UK.

The information that I have already got, are these:

As you can see, the ship sank in Spain and belonged to the UK.

It would be a great help, if you could help me by telling me how I would get some information about the owner, the captain or just some person that can give me the captain-protest about when the ship sank.

The ship picture cant you look for to homepage www.birgir.krea.fo ( ship name Kap Farvel )

Best regards

Birgir Waag Høgnesen
