Have not had any luck getting offshore so I think I will try for civils work for a few months to get something current on the CV. Anyone know of any descent companies in the UK that I could apply to? Also what is the best type of drysuit to bring to the job and where can I get one in the UK as there is nothing in Spain.

O'three drysuits - top notch but pricey - Weymouth.
Otter membranes also good. Failing that ebay.
Companies: Valkyrie (Shoreham,) UMC ( Plymouth / Southampton,) Hughes Sub Surface Engineering. Have a butchers at the Longstreath website, full list of UK companies on there, fire your CV and phone all of them. Good Luck Shipmate.
