Hi people, I've passed my PADI OW recently and will be using it whilst on my honeymoon in the Maldives Sept 5th.

I have a Canon 550D which I'll be taking, but as I'm new to diving, I can't justify the 800-1000 cost of a UW housing for the DSLR.

Since my fiance and I still have a lot to pay for in terms of the wedding, I'm looking for an entry level underwater compact (digital or otherwise) which we can dive with to take snaps worthy of printing. I recognise the colours and lighting will be limited by the depth we dive to. Does anyone have any suggestions/feedback on this?

I've heard good reviews about the Canon D10, are there any others I should consider, and/or other options for taking snaps?

Thanks for any help in advance.
