Yup i done my cd training there, im ex navy killick stoker.

Finished in dec 2007, training was very good hands on, ex navy staff in some cases. Caravan park is cheap, i stayed there for the duration cost very little and if your really stuck you can actually walk to the centre.

Excellent amount of kit that they give out. I got work in jan after i finished and then again in feb with which i was constantly in employment until oct which i had to hand in notice due to another solid job, you will make your course fees back in about 3-6 months if you are employable enough. But lots of competition still remains . Keep your chin up and dont give up looking for work thats one of the main reasons cd's fail and return to a normal life, be persistent and follow up with all contacts.

Good luck

Thank you you very much beachbum73 , that is a massive help and just like you am in navy am killock WE well due to leave when my course finishes. BnB's in the area cost around £840 a month and with myself being there for 11 weeks a just cant afford that after paying my course fee.
Could you tell me how much you paid for accomodation at caravan site? And do you have a name of the place.
I have so many questions to ask lol but i will keep it short is the diving course a pass or fail or is like a course in mob were if you just keep ya head down n crack on dont come in p****d up they will get you through it ? Its just alot of money to spend on something you could fail on you know what i mean , well hope to hear from you soon mate if you dont want to put infomation on the forum you could email me at navydavie@hotmail.com look forward to your reply all best davie
