I was supposed to be diving in the Maldives on the 13th of Feb but in light of recent events it doesn't seem like a good idea. So I'm after suggestions for alternative venues. I want a warm water destination and I've already got 1400 invested with a travel agent. Something special would be nice. Any Ideas? Iwas thinking about Cozumel but I dont know much about it. Thnks

I can stongly recomend Cuba . There are many differnt dive sites and also a "national park". Cuba as a holiday choice is not very common and as a result the diving is very good . There is black coral and a wide range of sea life . It's worth a took into!hope you have a good trip wherever you go.

I don't understand why your are not going to the Maldives any more, there are many resorts open, the people are fantastic, the hotels good or very good and the diving is out of this world. And now, speciallly now is the time to go as the only thing that these people need the most is to work not to seat around waiting for a handaout. If I had the time and money I'd go once a month!!!
