A few months ago, I abruptly bought a pair of Deep Outdoors Sixgills Fins after reading good reports in the Sports Diver magazine. I took them with me on a liveaboard trip to the Red Sea without ever having tried them even once. It turned out to be the best 90 that I ever spent. The Sixgills are light, short and very easy to pack for travel. The simple looking straps are the best feature; the work like spring clips, but unlike the latter are adjustable. Wearing the Sixgills, one can walk slowly forwards across the dive platform instead of shuffling sideways awkwardly. Best of all, they are superb in the water, with a deceptively powerful propulsion.

They have all the advantages of the best split-fins underwater and none of the awkwardness out of it. I recommend them to anyone.
