A deep wreck, best done on Tri-Mix. A very large and impressive wreck that lies in an area of clear oceanic water leading to visibility in the order of 30M +. Sunk by torpedo during the second world war, she is now broken up in the mid section, but with large parts still recognisable. The boilers are huge ( as big as a house ! )and the props are still in place ( Bronze ). The most interesting aspect is the cargo, which consisted of American Sherman Tanks. There are many of these to be seen, several of which are upright, complete and undamaged ( apart from rust ! )To give you an idea about the water clarity, at 68M, we did not need torches at all and on one part of the wreck at 60M, there were lots of Jewel Anemonies. Combined with prolific fish life, this is a stunning wreck. Not for the inexperienced, it's deep, there's usually a large swell and it's a long way off shore. Simply put - Brilliant !
