Notes :

Very nice dive, the stern is completely intact, with doors hanging open, glass in the windows etc. We dived it in excellent viz (15m) last year and could see whole parts of the vessel. Beware in low viz as blasting has opened her up in places and it would be very easy to get inside without realising it. A swim round the stern and into the engine room is an exhilarating dive.

Yeh - A Great dive this if you get good vis. I've

done it a couple of times but still have plenty to see. The only problem with it is the lack of slack water on a spring (i dont usually bother).

Also if the vis is poor and there is no light it is real easy to swim into an overhead enviroment.

We dived this site yesterday:vis was poor, no more than 2m. Good fish life, lots of flat fish and wrasse. Weather was good for this time of year, but it turned cold on the way home. There was strong current near the end of the dive: we were down 56 minutes. The dive site is so big, it requires several dives to see it all! Penetration could not be achieved due to low vis. Good dive and recommend it to anyone!

Dived sky on 25/4/99, with breakwater diving

(castle town), expected 4 meter vis (not to happy

as I was videoing the dive) choppy seas for an hour to site was FUN!!!. 8 divers on boat, various

mix,s and times. What a dive, we had 10-15 meters visability which made 8 very Happy divers :) the

vid came out excellent, what more can you ask for. we will be returning very soon, see ya in the

narc zone!!!! :)

First dived the "SKY" last year. Saw a mermaid, turned around and promptly lost the wreck! Plan to go back in May so this time I won't be distracted.

I concur with Neil. Another sure fire way of finding her is to look for the huge boil of water on either the flood or ebb about 1/2 hour before slack is due and motor either east or west away from it depending on the tide and you're bound to find it.
