| Stockholm Diving in Sweden can be divided in three: westcoast-, eastcoast- and lakediving. Since my divingclub, KTH Dykarklubb, and I are located in Stockholm I will tell You about eastcoastdiving. Because of the low salinity of the Baltic Sea (brack water), organisms that practically eats all old wooden shipwrecks cannot exist. This is why the warship Vasa www.vasamuseet.se/indexeng.html which sunk in 1628 could be salvaged 1961. Old wooden ship remain! The Baltic Sea cannot offer colourful fishes but alot of thrilling wrecks. Even ships made of steel are wellkept in the "calm" waters of the Baltic. The waters which also is reletively shallow (=able to dive). You are welcome to contact The Royal Institute of Technology Diving Club
