General Information

The first I knew of the seal was a gentle, insistent tugging on my fins. Gingerly, hands on the rock beneath me, I turned to look behind. At the end of my right leg, a plump young seal with a lime green Mares Planar in its mouth was chewing thoughtfully. Our eyes met. His, it struck me, looked distinctly guilty. I remembered too late the advice I had been given: "Do not look them in the eye. I would recommend Farne Island Divers, we used them earlier this year and they were very professional.

Orca Diving have just spent the weekend diving with Soverign Divers at the Farnes. We were treated to a great weekend of diving and equally superb hospitallity. Thank you to Andy & Toby for a quality weekend.

popular wk at farnes is the somalia any local will tell you lat/long great dive at slack water but savage tide over it one hour either side of high and low water

The club i am with is planning a trip to the Farne Isles in July. We are taking the club rib, Can anybody tell me of any wrecks or interesting dive sites. If wrecks are known, can you provide the long and lat please.

Try reading "The Diver's Comprhensive Guide to the Farnes & Holy Island" by Ron Young, everything you would ever need to know is in it:Wrecks, Dive-sites, tidal streams, seal, birds, underwater life and places to stay etc
