The recent post regarding diving with sharks in aquariums has gotten me thinking.

Do all aquariums employ divers (for maintainence, cleaning etc). Seems to me it would be a briliant job.

Most do - it depends on the size of the tanks though. Minimum requirements are PADI Divemaster and a full HSE medical. Pay is not brilliant, but then again it's much safer than saturation diving on North Sea platforms!

i have been diving for the most of my life but just for fun either as free diving or with SCUBA.
need to know what do i have to do to become an saturation diver or any diver that performs the work under the water. at present i'm working as an safety training supervisor on noble drilling oil rig.
your advise is much appreciated.

work at `The Deep` as a full time diver and it is a good job. Pay is terrible but like you say better than the rigs and we do get to feed all the fish including the sharks by hand. (a very debatable point for starters )If you want any more info drop me a line and if you visit look me up and I can show you whats what.
