anyone done this?

: I have just booked it and wanted some inside knowledge.

An article on the course will be appearing in March's Sport Diver magazine - the editor, Mark Evans, attended the first course on 11th January.

Hi Chris,
I am interested in the PADI Shark Diving Speciality. Please would you let me have details of where you are,and when you are running this course. I tried asking PADI about this but ,to date, I have received no reply.

This is a new course at Blue Planet - the first one will be running in January after approval was recently obtained from PADI - I have been helping set it up (I'm in charge of the AV equipment at Blue Planet)

: There will be lectures on Biology, ecology, conservation and safety given by our aquarists - fully qualified in Marine Biology and PADI instructors.

: Lunch and other refreshments are included, along with a guided tour of the aquarium, followed by a dive in the tank with our sharks - 7 Sand Tigers (largest about 10ft), 3 Nurse Sharks, 2 Lemon Sharks, 1 Wobbegong, 6 Southern Stingrays, Bamboo & Epaulette sharks (only little) plus Morays, Jacks, Tarpon, Barracuda etc.

: The specialisation counts towards your PADI Master Scuba qualification.

: Hope that helps

: Chris
