Just a quick one for you, I am buying a new wing for deep diving and an eventual move to tech but i'm not sure of the specifics so if anybody could maybe explain to me the differences that'd be great.

Ok so i am planning to get a Custom diver TDB wing system but not sure whether to get a single or a twin bladder - what's the practical difference between 1 or 2 bladders ?

http://www.customdivers.com/tdb-wings-systems-39-c.asp

Usually i'd ask the shop but owing to the difference in cost between single and twin bladders i am slightly concerned profiteering might well colour the advice they'd give.

thanks
Alex

Basically you get the redundancy of a spare (backup) bladder inside the wing, BUT you then have two LP feeds into the wing and have two inflators hanging around.
Most people I know avoid twin bladders like the plague.
If you're diving in a dry suit, that in itself is backup bouyancy, a secondary wing bladder isn't necessary.

Sorry for the plug but if you're after a tech style wing with shed loads of lift I'm flogging an AudaxPro 11 - identical to this :http://www.vtreksports.com/images/products/large_241_ONE_Black_pic2.jpg
Except mine's in red.
