I've just bought a Sony Cybershot P150 & Marine Housing & was wondering if anyone has experience using one, as I wanted to know if any of the supplemental equipment (Colour correction filter, strobe, etc) is essential to have?

I can show you some pictures taken in the Red Sea with a P10. I would advise the correction filter but the strobe is not essential.

hi,
i have a P120 if you want interesting colourful photos then a flash is essential , i have a sea &sea dx25 which i just bought so still getting used to it but without it in this country your photos will be greenish abroad depending upon where you go it could give bluish or greenish tinge to you photos, i have taken photos in the read sea using a filter and the cameras flash with reasonable results you can of course enhance them with a computerand a bit of patience, i have a colour correction filter which i made myself it does put some colour back into your photos but its not fool proof remember this country you wont use the red filter, you will use a magenta also in the med is a magenta filter , if you buy a flash you wont need any filters , another thing to remember also hows your diving with a camera etc you task load yourself its not as simple sometimes (especially this country) juggling cameras etc .
hope this helps plenty to think about- you like me may progress to using a flash in search of that awe inspiring photo splashed with colour.

regards paul
