Hi,
Soon planning a long trip to thailand in january and really want to go on a liveaboard to dive burma banks and Mergui Archipelago. Ive done about 25 dives and have my aow. I went on a liveaboard to the similans about 18 months ago and it was great, this time would love to see some more sharks/bigger stuff and maybe some slightly more difficult diving.
Going on some web searchs it seems that not too many boats are going out to the banks anymore (apparently overfishing has seen shark numbers diminish?), does anyone know of a recommended liveaboard company to use? and if its def worth trying to get to the burma banks?
Also ive got friends ill be travelling with who might want to have a go but im worried this sort of trip is gonna be too much for beginners. Thanks in advance for your help.

a new company just opened, the smiling seahorse, they are one of the only companies going to Burma, I had a blast with them, such superb dive sites! the boat is confortable, the staff efficient and food... amazing!!!
I heard burma banks are not the best in burma, I went around the mergui archipelago and wasnt disappointed.
