Well, if you've been diving for years, and KNOW that the Middle East Companies are the ones taking on 'New Divers',(your advice, above) then I'd have thought you'd know where to look, and also know the situation re. the Good ol' GOM. I'd say 3 years diving, 4 tops!
I take it nobody's ever asked you to do a Nitrox EAD dive in the North Sea with that SA ticket of yours? just wait, hahahahaha!

If you'd care to point out what was wrong with my last post, I'd happily retract it. I'm sick of listening to little baby divers who got offshore in the North Sea 2 years ago because they had a pulse bitch and moan about how hard it is to find work now- welcome to Diving!
Anybody that doesn't know that the GoM is practically a closed shop, and that no-one in ccc's, Halul, Algosaibi, Macdermotts, Global, Frasers, etc gives a flying fuck if the fresh meat they're sending out to the Barge to bend has a SA ticket or not- well, I'd say that any advice coming from them is pish.
But what do I know. Ive only been diving for 18 years, Inshore, Offshore, Sat, Home, away....

Bagshy you are one of the old boys who does not like chage thats a pity, your 18 yrs of diving means nothing to me,because people like you are scared people like myself will take your job, I look to people who give good advise, as for you i have no time, one day i hope you will realise this, and help people instead of knocking everybody, I have a few contacts and for your info, i am on my way to the gom now just waiting on my visa... shows how much you know 18yrs shut it, swallow your pride and start helping other for a chage instead of being an arrogant ass.........!!

Ooooh, the little baby diver has teeth! If you could do what I can do, then I'd be worried. As it is, you can look out at that DSV sailing into Aberdeen and dream..we all need dreams, kid! even experienced know-it-all divers like yourself. 4 years!! Have you filled up a whole logbook yet?!
As for the GoM, enjoy..you sound like the kind of prick who'd fit in to that Cowboy backwater!

Sorry steady-Eddie, I'm Core crew on a DSV in the North sea. I know you'd dearly love that I was a little wannabe diver who's been diving 3 or 4 years and has just about started his second log book, but, as the sketch goes, 'I could buy and sell you, son- Buy and Sell!'
