I recently came back from Australia where I did my open water and adventure courses with scuba schools international I also did a wreck dive and before I did any courses I did a couple of introductory dives ( I have about 12 dives including the intro's) . I would like to find a club I could join in either the Leeds or Edinburgh area.

Would there be a problem with my course being SSI rather than PADI?

Also my friend wants to know where she can get accredited in the Leeds area and what kind of prices she should be looking at.

Ideally, once she is accredited, we would like to do some weekend diving where we could hire all the gear. Is there anywhere in the UK where we can do that easily?

I would appreciate any replies.

Thanks,

Laters

Hi go to bsac.com you can get a list of dive clubs in your area your SSI should not be a problem you can join a club at the eqiv quals or crossover and advance to a higher level the training is much cheaper than going through a school they will have equipment to loan out and should know where you can hire equipment from plus the training will be of a hivery high stadard without the hight prioces best of luck Paul
