Hello, I'm thinking of getting my own wetsuit for the PADI Open Water course I'm doing later in the year in Egypt (the ones I've had on try dives have been ill fitting so I've been freezing!!).

My local dive store has recommended a Typhoon XTS 5mm Long for 120. Are Typhoon wetsuits any good? I've gone onto the internet but can't really find much out about them. If they are and it seems a fair price then there's nothing I'd like more than be able to pay for a bit of personalised service.

Basically all I need is something that won't fall apart straight away and will keep me warm so I can concentrate on the fun part!

If anyone's got any other suggestions I'd love to hear them. Ideally though I don't really want to spend much more than 120.

Many thanks
Sim
P.S. In case it turns out that the Typhoon is not the best bet, is buying direct from the internet a bit risky for my first suit?
