Last week I enroled on my first session to do the full PADI course, however since last week I have suffered with a tight chest.I dived 2 years ago whilst on holiday and suffered ear problems and still do sometimes have problems equalising?.I am determined to see this course through.Should I seek further advise on this chest problem. My second course is tomorrow evening.Should I give it a miss. Your help would be appreciated. Dean

You should with out a shadow of a doubt talk to your instructor first, withholding this information may be dangerous to you, please remember your health is more important than any dive course! He/She will be able to advise you what to do next, If they ignore the problem I would look into getting a diving medical done (find a doctor that is aware of potential problems associated with diving, most GP's arenít up to speed on such matters),and complete the course at a later date. You may well be fine and an easy solution can be found to your problems, but it is well worth looking into it first.Best of luck
