Hi, I've just bought a Northern Diver dry suit. I've done the PADI OW course and a few dives since but I want to do more in my local area, west coast of Scotland so I've booked an advanced open water course and intend to do dry suit diving course. My question is, is it possible to use the dry suit as a wet suit just now until I do the course, without connecting it to my air supply? Thanks, hope this isn't a stupid question!

Hi no not possible with the hose disconected you will exp suit squeze and water will start to come in via the seals then the suit becomes cold and very heavy making water exit difficult don't do it

Hi Paul,
thanks for the advice. I guess I'll just wait and use it after I do the course. I was just a bit eager to get back in the water.
