hi, going to Magaluf in june, iv got a 3mm full wetsuit, water temp roughly expected 23 c, just wondering if il be warm enough?? Do i need a 5mm?? help!! thanks

there's a page on my site about diving in mallorca - http://www.devilgas.com/diving/mallorca/divingInMallorca.asp - that gives info on the temps i've experienced out there. the 23c is the temp at the surface / upper layer. below that the temp does drop by as much as 5c.

i've only ever used a 3mm shorty out there (june, july & october), however i have a modicum of additional subcutaneous insulation. i did start to feel the cold this year in egypt with water temps of 23 and the shorty. if you do feel the cold, then i'd probably opt for a 5mm, or just sling a 3mm shorty / torso over the top of the full.

i should get a 5.5mm semi dry my dad was cold when he got deeper (18m) n da temp was 21 so get a thicker suit
