Seasearch is returning to the east coast, if you are an active scuba diver we need you!

Scuba divers know what a privilege it is to enter the underwater world, now we have a chance to help this wonderful world by taking part in the seasearch programme.

Seasearch is a national programme from the Marine Conservation Society (MCS); the diver collects data of what they see while enjoying a typical club dive. The data is then passed to the MSC who collated it nationally. The data could be used in the future to monitor the impact of climate change.

Any dive can be a Seasearch dive, so why not encourage your club and buddies to be involved. If you club would like a talk on seasearch please contact me.

Further information can also be viewed on the national website; the south and west of the UK have been very active, so help put the east coast on the map.
