I am Just back from a week in Salou.
there are no dive centres in Salou however there are a few in Cambrils which is a 5 min (1.50 Euro)train ride to the south. I went diving with these guys:
http://www.glupsdiving.com/
they have a shop in Cambrils and another smaller centre in the Harbour at L'Hospitalet de L'infant which is one more train stop south of Cambrils - just 20 mins from Salou in total.
Went out in a large rib to a spot just outside the harbour. I usually dive on the west coast of Ireland and compared to that cambrils was very boring, not much life, boulders on the bottom at 20M but excellent vis of about 30 M and not too cold (not to warm either) 18C that was last week- 30th June (2004) the 1 boat dive including all gear was 35 Eur. they were nice to dive with..

Hi Geordie,
I am holidaying in Salou in October for 2 weeks (staying at one of the Port Aventura hotels). I enjoy scenic diving with fish (preffer 25m max). I am a BSAC sports diver with 70+ dives. I would like to do at least 4 dives.
What would suit me (as have young family) is being picked up early (around 7am) and returned by mid-day.
Is this something you could possibly accomodate?
What is your email address?
Kind Regards
Craig Campbell

I was in Salou in September this year and the only dive centre i could trace was the following. I decided not to bother diving on this occassion but they were recommended by the Hotel I was staying in:
Ganouby Diving. Tel:607 687 400.
