Hi there,
I've been doing alot of research into becoming a commercial diver. I have the first 2 years of a mechanical engineering dgree done but not qualified. I've no experience with tools but have the whole of a plumbing apprenticeships notes and am doing a bit on the side. Would I find it difficult to find work? I looked up a college in Canada and they take a whole 9 months to do the course while its only 3 in scotland. Also they are recognised by every diving body in the world and its cheaper, why is this?
