Hi All,
First post here so thought I'd introduce myself. I'm originally from Bournemouth but left many years ago. Been working for the past 16 years as a freelance underwater video cameraman. I'll be returning to the UK in October (around the Bristol area) as I'll be starting work on a longterm work project. Just wanted to say hi.

I specialize in underwater video and am currently using a Sony Z1U in Gates Housing with the Fathoms SWP44 120 degree ext. Wide Lens. I'm passionate about Macro filming and have just finished a short film that showcases the wildlife found around the Lembeh Straits region of northern Sulawesi, after spending a month filming there earlier this year.

Until recently I have been based in Palau and am now looking forward to getting stuck into some British Diving.......even though it may be just a tad cooler!!

Cheers,
Mark Thorpe

Hello Mark,

I'm sure that you'll more than enjoy diving back in Blighty - it definetly offers something different to warm water stuff.

You can also find an active community of UW photographers diving in the green stuff on www.digigreen.net

Cheers,

Tim
