Hello there!

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on the best way to clean up a wreck filled up with fishing nets; cutting piece by piece, and gathering all pieces in a net bag, on several dives...? Try to join masses of nets (risky)?..

gotta be honest here. the only time i'd ever bother cutting nets / line is if i were caught in the stuff.
what are your reasons for clearing the nets?
if i were to undertake such a task, and this is with no experience of doing such a thing, then i'd remove small sections at a time, stowing them somewhere where they wouldn't pose a tangle problem - maybe clip onto a carabiner away from the work area, then attach that to a lift bag to remove the cut away net from the site. not something i'd do for the hell of it though.
