Hello all, I am new here, just about to start my PADI Open Water. I have a wetsuit to get me through the next month or so but would like to start looking around for a dry suit.

I'm off to some dive shops in South-West Wales tomorrow to try some things on and get a feel for the suits. Has anyone got any recommendations of dry suit types and maybe even retailers in the South-West Wales area? I'm trying to keep an eye out on eBay too, although being a shortie I doublt that'll pan out!

Thank in advance!

Eve

stick with the wetsuit for the time being until you've decided that:-
a) diving IS for you
b) diving in the uk IS for you

when you've answered YES to both ;-) have a chat with jackie at days diversified (http://www.daysdiving.co.uk/) in swansea. great service and great prices. i'm from cardiff and make the trip there for most of my gear & servicing. they're open weds-sat, so have tomorrow off!

Hi mate,

if ever posible try some different suits out.

You know neophren vs. trilaminat
neophren seals vs. latex

And don`t rush it, it is still summer, it is not cheap so get the "right" one. If you are not sure - wait.

Happy bubbles
