Having read the posts and looked around a bit it seems as though there are really 2 routes, HSE course at fort william or south african course. From what i have read the HSE recognises the south african ticket as equivilent and the IMCA accredits both the HSE and SA qualifications.
The SA ticket is cheeper, but my question is this,
are the HSE and SA tickets actually equivilent?
I am looking at doing either the SA class 2 diver or HSE pt 1, the HSE is about 8,000 quid more than the SA2 but if i do the SA 2 will i be chucking money in the wrong pot??
Any advice would be greatfully received
