I'm learning to dive with Bsac. Various people who learned with PADI keep telling me that Bsac is not well recognized abroad. Does anyone have any views on this?

Hi Georgia,
Bsac are recognized around the world, once you have your ocean diver ect get your cmas cards through Bsac.
Thanks

Hi both the above are true bsac and cmass are recoqnised the world over even in places padi is not our clulb dived in cuba last year no problem. the problem with padi trained diver is they are brain washed into stayin and paying lots of money with padi (after all if they knew how much less it cost to train with the bsac and to a much higher stadard then padi would lnot make lots of money)
