Hi i have just passed my o/w and will soon be doing my advanced. I wish to purchase a drysuit. I have researched on the net and i have a idea of what i am going to get could you please correct me if you feel i am making any bad choices.
Purchase cordura made to measure membrane dysuit from: http://www.seaskin.co.uk/
price: £428.99
Although the website displays the suit with polyester I spoke to the company and they will make the suit in cordura for no extra cost

Also purchase a thinsulate 250 made to measure undersuit from the same company.
(not totally sure whether this is best option i do feel the cold and will be diving in the uk. Anyone have any better ideas for undersuits?)
I do realise that compressed neoprene dry suits have better thermal properties but i hope to dive on wrecks and would like a hard wearing suit.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Has anybody heard anything good/bad about www.seaskin.co.uk

Hi, Cordura is a good choice, (you also have the freedum to wear less or extra under a membrane don't have it made to tight, unlike the compressed neopren, neoprene also hardens over time), I have tried different types of suites over the years. neoprene, crushed neoprene and membrane. I am using a ND cordura at preasent +200g flectron under suit plus thermal vest in mid winter temps down to 3 deg not sure about seaskin. I recomend neoprene neckseal, not latex, (last longer) Paul
