Having just bought a new house, the time came to fill in my life cover questionaire, and this is where things started to go horribly wrong.
Now, i am a quite keen diver, having dived for over 10 years,500+ dives, holding trimix qualifications and enjoying 15 or so 60m-90m dives per a year, as soon as this was placed on my questionaire, the policy prices rocketed by about 80%-100%. I fully understand that this is a hazerdous sport, but the penalties seem extremely high. I was wondering if anyone else has found such problems and wether they have any ideas on insurance companies that do not consider this to be akin to playing catch with a live hand grenade, i want to enjoy my sport without having to worry about the extra cost (its already pricey enough), also slightly fudging the questions is a no no, as i would hate it to come back and bite me sometime.Any thoughts greatly appreciated
