I have a seaman sub triple guage. The last time I dived it read 20m when my actual depth was 22m and read 23m when I was at 30m.

Does anybody know if they can be recalibrated or do I need a new set of instruments.

Thanks

David

Depth Gauges aren't very sensitive to changes in pressure, you can go up or down a few metres before it will move.....that's just the way it is. If you want accurate depth, invest in a dive computer, something like an aladdin pro. This tells you your depth to the nearest decimal point.

Hope this helps

I have a computer and that is how I know that the guage was out. Surely it should be more accurate than this.

U can just get the gauge changed its cheaper than getting a new consul

Gauges are accurate enough..Yours, i suggest is knackered.. :-) time to replace it.
Or (just to be devils advocate) is your computer wrong...how can you tell without a third source :-)

The 2 budies I was with read depths of 30m and a second computer on a buddy also confirmed this.

Thanks for your reply.
