The University of Wolverhampton will be hosting a public lecture entitled ‘Battle of Jutland – the wrecks, the history, the legacy’ at 7pm on 24 May 2006.

This one-hour lecture will take place in MC001, the main lecture theatre in the Millennium City Building at the University of Wolverhampton, and the speaker will be renowned submarine expert and wreck diver Innes McCartney.

As well as telling the story of the Battle of Jutland, Innes will explain where the wrecks are located and how they got there. His account will be invaluable to all who are interested in both diving and naval history.

The lecture is free but places need to be reserved in advance. Places are available on a first come, first served basis.
