Hi im looking for some advice with computers. Is there a computer that you can flag or log your boats position for extra safty when boat diving? If so can you let me no of some models please.

Neat idea - I don't know of any. Worth emailing SUUNTO as they do a range of extreme sports (none diving ) computers for various GPS, altimeter etc etc...

The challange with boat diving is drift. you and the boat will drift position if not at anchor. so you would record the position at the start of the dive.

That said I like the idea of the computer for caving and cavern diving too... Sat Nav has come on leaps and bounds - so have the receivers and antennas... but that said it is technically difficult from wrist mounted device to achieve what is needed - as well as the dive computer bit... like most of the really good manufacturers out there - i would recommed you email SUUNTO - they would like your idea... well done Andrew
