Hi Andrew, My last dive was about 25 years ago and want to get back into it, I noticed that the equipment has changed over the years.
I have been looking at wetsuits and drysuits and being old school I cant decide what would be for the best.
Any advice would be great.

Regards

Mike

Hi Mike,

the question is better put which suits are best for what diving...

> Wetsuits are generally warm water diving only.
> Semi-dry suits (very thick wet suits with special cuffs and integrated hood) are suitable for cold water diving - although chilly in the winter - take care not to get too cold though on the dive and during the surface interval
> Dry suits good for all cold, very cold and warm water diving - insulation is with layers of under clothes or all in one specialist under suits.

hope this helps. if the answer is not what you are looking for reply and give me a bit more information as to the type of diving you are returning to...

thanks Andrew
