Just a quickie…. Looking at buying a dive computer have you any suggestions, not looking at top of the range but one that is very good value for money???

Depends what you are going to do diving wise... Personally I like the research that has gone into the Suunto range (oh & by the way i'm not on commission)...

These are safe and well engineered - battery replacement isn't a rip off. Easy to setup and use - with sensible safety lockouts for changing dive modes. Something like the Suunto Vyper is great. http://www.suunto.com

As I said though depends what you are doing and want to do. There is lots of choice in this area. The diving magazines do a lot of comparisons every now and then.

Me when I'm diving expeditions or extended range trips I use Suunto & VR3 computers. For my Training School we use Suunto & VR3 computers. I guess that speaks volumes.
