I am 42 ,fit ,regularly train quite muscular,non smoker, light drinker, No symptoms - Also just passed ENG-1 medical no problems with urine test.

Thanks for the query.

By the sounds of things you are not officially diabetic, but in the region of impaired fasting glucose. This clearly needs regular monitoring, but does not mean you cannot work as a diver.

Thanks to disability discrimination legislation, you cannot be disqualified from diving automatically if you develop diabetes. At this stage, you do need regular assessments to ensure the control of the condition is good and you do not develop any complications of the disease. Once this happens, diving at work is not permitted.
