I have been taking citalopram for several months for work rlated stress and anxiety, my gp has changed the medication to Venlafaxine. I am hoping to dive on holiday in June, will I be OK to dive???

Thanks for the query.

This depends very much on how you react to the new medication and whether your anxiety is controlled. In general I advise a period of at least 3 months on a medication like this to allow the brain to get used to it, so June may be too soon. You will need to get a medical done with a diving doctor once the transition is complete.
