Hi doc, Just a quick question. I'm thinking of becomeing a commercial diver, and was just wondering what is involved in the medical I.E What tests are carried out?

The preliminary HSE medical involves a complete physical examination and several tests to make sure heart, lungs, ears etc all work fine. The exact details are all here:

Scroll down to HSE Preliminary and it's all there. Note that there is a form you need to get signed by your GP before you go for the medical.
