hi its me again with a strange problem i had after diving at stoney cove i did 3 dives in total first was to 16 m (average)for 30 mins then a 2hr s.i. 2nd dive to same depth and time and then a 1 hour 30 min s.i. final dive was 12 m average for 30 mins no probs at all till i got home and had a a real pain in my index finger on my right hand for no reason and is still acheing a bit now almost like reheumatism . also on the drive home i was having really hot gas (belching) a bit like acid intergestion. but very often and hot. its all calmed down now a day after the diveing but im just wondering if i did something wrong or is it nothing to do with the diving
your opinion would be most helpful
many thanks from pete

That all sounds very odd. It's worth repeating our mantra: "if it wasn't there before the dive and is now, it's DCI until proven otherwise". If all the symptoms have cleared up then not to worry, but I have seen cases of DCI involving finger joints and indigestion. So if there is no obvious alternative explanation you ought to see a dive doc to rule DCI out. Our number is 07940 353816.
