Question

i am due to have an op under GA for bilateral vein removal in my legs as they are too close to the surface for laser. I have been told I will be in compression type bandages for a few weeks but I would like to know when it will be safe for me to dive again

many thanks

Hi, sorry for the delay in answering this. You'll be glad to hear that once you're fully recovered from the GA and the wounds have healed, that diving will be fine. Usually I recommend 6-8 weeks but be guided by how long it takes for the wounds to heal over.
