Question

Hi I am a female diver, I am fairly new to diving after only logging 13 dives. I am overweight for my height but have never had any problems with regard to fitness in diving. The only problem I've been facing recently is that every time that I go diving the day after I bleed as though I'm on my period but only for one day. This doesn't interfer with my regular cycle but is it something that I should be worried about?

That is quite unusual. There is no diving-related reason that springs to mind; sometimes erratic bleeding can be caused by stress or anxiety and this appears to be more common in those who are overweight. As long as the bleeding stops and your normal cycle continues then I would not be too concerned.
