Dear Dr Eden,
I am doing some research for a programme for the Discovery Channel, and I am trying to find out some stats regarding deaths due to decompression sickness. I know it's rare but was wondering if you could provide any numbers?

Best Regards

Deaths are tricky as most chambers have never had a case where someone doesnt make it.
And likewise diving deaths, eg diver found floating at the surface of the water, can be due to heart attack, lung trauma etc.
For volume of deaths, you could check Divernet and do a count.
