I'm a DM wanting to do my ODC later this year. I've just had a bad ear infection which resulted to having a cholosteatoma. I'm having surgery for this in 8 days. Can you tell me the chances of diving again after the surgery. And if not the reason why, as you can imagine I'm worried I won't be able to dive again. Thankyou

This is a serious op for the ear, and some docs think you should not dive after this operation,
my suggestion is to have it done, then 8 weeks post op see a diving ENT surgeon to assess the situation and pass you as fit or not
