Hi everybody! I知 Riccardo from Italy I知 36 years old ! I知 thinking to do the premium industry package in Fort Williams for will be a commercial Diver . I have 6 years of experience in the recreational and technical dives sector , I知 a full trimix Diver and a padi instructor . I spend the last 4 years working in the Diving centers here in Italy making expierience . For satisfy my passion and for exploit my dexterity I知 thinking to make the course for move in England and work over there. The question is , possible to find work ? There are opportunities for a rookie to start a new life and career over there?

Hi Riccardo, during your course we'll share advice and company contact details with you during and we also hold Career Advice Sessions that you can attend and gain an additional insight into the career of a commercial diver. Our Student Advisors, whom you may already be speaking with, can help you with any further questions you may have. Thanks!

I am thinking about going on the same course at fort william but very worried about the job oppertunities after the course

Thank you for your question. The Oil & Gas Industry has been challenging due to current market conditions but there are signs of improvement and other other sectors like renewable energy, decommissioning, underwater inspection, civil diving and fish-farms all looking for divers.

During your diving training we run a "Careers Session" on how to apply for work along with a database for Company contact痴 Worldwide. We also list any jobs received on our Facebook page and then send to only our graduated students.

You still need to be proactive and send out your CV, search for contracts and to apply at the correct times and network while on course as best as possible. We offer student support on completion of our training courses so we're on hand if any further advice or help is required.
