I'm serving in the royal navy as a diver. and am looking to make the change into the commercial world and working offshore can anyone give me any advice on how to get started. cheers

Hi,

All you need to do is make sure your certificate is the correct one as given on the HSE website. Enrol on a course for the Surface supplied Top Up. Enrol on a offshore survival course. Send your CV to the main offshore companies and then phone them. If you have any friends or ex colleagues who are already divers use them and now is a good time as the industry is opening back up after the winter.
