She was a non-commissioned vessel, hired by the RN as a mine carrier and a Royal Fleet Auxiliary, therefore she did not use HMS. She was plain s.s. LADY CORY WRIGHT, some references use the hyphen some do not. Built by S P Austin & Co Ltd of Sunderland in 1906 she was 2516tg. For a photo you will need something like the National Maritime Museum or the World Ship Society collections. : Does anyone know if there is anything left of this ship which was sunk by UC-17 on 26/03/18 twelve miles off the Lizard,Cornwall.Anyone know where I can get a picture of this ship and also who the Captain of UC-17 was at this time.
