Quite right,
I wasn't suggesting not to replace the o-rings, only what I had been informed about the different greases. FWIW I've used the blue grease with the black rings and I haven't experienced any problems over the last few years - only the other way round as described. The difference between the rings is that the blue ones are permeable and meant to 'absorb' some of the grease whereas the black ones aren't.
