: Hi Paul : Sea and Sea not make a 28mm lens, not a lot of point with a standard of 35. The wide angles are 20 and 16. : The dive show is comming up, last three you have been able to buy a brand new MMIImx with YS60 for £500ish. Some stalls are a lot more but this is the going rate, I paid £490 for mine. The camera you are looking at has a YS50 which means its a few years old as this was replaced with the 60 at least two years ago. Can not remember wide angle prices but shop prices are just over £200. : You call the camera a MMII not a MMIImx if this is right not just a mistake then you are probably taking at least five years old (mx introduced a shutter speed control, I think about 5 years ago). : In view of that I think £450 is well over the top even with a wide angle, but its your money! : If you do buy it be careful about the O rings, older ones are not compatible with new grease. Old rings are black, new are blue. But if you are not sure about the history replace all of them, (about £10) just make sure you clean the seats properly. : The book you are probably talking about is by Joe Liburdi and is more of a technical guide which can be useful if you do not get manuals but otherwise is a waste of time, currently out of print. Buy "The Underwater Photographer" by Martin Edge ISBN 0240515811 cost is £23 at Amazon. By far the best UW photo book out there. : Hope this helps but if you want anything else feel free to email me direct. : Cheers : Pete OK,

I've already given my opinion about the Sea & Sea book in the other post but I also have and recommend the Martin Edge 'Complete Photographer' book. But I still feel that there's a place for Joe Liburdis book.
Anyway, my point of this post is regarding the o-rings and grease. The way it works is that you can use Sea & Sea grease with the blue screw-top for black or blue o-rings. You cannot use black screw-top grease for blue rings - I've inadvertently done it and they stretch over a period of time!
